So I had big plans to write this fabulously enticing blog about the sale I’ll be at today…but of course I have to leave in 15 min…here’s the barebones (besides the fact that it’s going to be amazing and ridiculously fun!):

Well…to see me of course!  Seriously now, I will be selling a selection of my jewelry, hand-dyed clothing, new owls, bags, quilts, and a few more odds and ends.  Besides crafts, I will also be selling our delicious canned goods from Lapacek’s Orchard! 

AND, there’s going to be at least 19 other crafters/artists with their amazing goodies at the sale too.  If you come with someone not really into crafts – no problem…they could have a drink at the bar  - how perfect is that!?

I have to start by apologizing for not posting a Themed Thursday last week.  I’ve been really busy making jewelry to send to the Project M Boutique (check) and getting fun new things made for the Valentine’s Day Craftacular (half check) I will be at on Saturday.  Sometimes something has to give…and I guess last week it was ‘Themed Thursday.’ 

No worries…I’ll make it up to you this week with some amazingly fabulous finds! I am a scrabble addict so I could resist using this as one of my Valentine’s Day picks.  Love You in Scrabble Letters - Photographic Print from eyeshoot would be perfect for the scrabble lover in your life!

It is my dream/my goal to someday have my cupboard full of handmade pottery plates/cups/bowls.  Hopefully I’ll have a quite a few from dbabcock’s amazing studio like this Valentine Heart Plate. 

I just love the simplicity and elegance of these Hoop Earrings Oxidized Sterling Silver and Red Glass Hearts - Let Me Call You Sweetheart from WildWomanJewelry. 

Nothing says ‘I Love You’ like a great patchwork belt (insert sarcastic laugh).  But seriously now, The Lover’s Patchwork Belt is an adorable belt that works perfectly for Valentine’s day or any other day of the year – and yes, I (Kim’s Crafty Apple) made it…

This Valentine Table Runner from betsyquiltingart caught my eye right away…how great would that look on your table!?

I found this fabulous and hilarious ‘Olive Juice’ card from bohtieque for Valentine’s day… you HAVE to read the description!  Perfect!

And now for my final pick for today’s theme…

This Red Octopus Poncho from Elise Hooper Designs is too cute to ignore…I had to include it!  I want one for my girls!  LOVE!

Have a great Valentine’s Day!

This Saturday I will be selling goodies from both Kim’s Crafty Apple and the Apple at the Valentine’s Craftacular.  The Craftacular will be at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI, 701 East Washington, Madison, WI, from 10-4 on Saturday, February 13th.

Not only will I have many of the things you see in my etsy shops, but I also have a new addition…my stuffed owls!    Angel the ‘Patchwork’ Owl  Kaffe the Patchwork Owl Ariel the Patchwork Owl – both front and back view… All of the Patchwork Owl’s were created using ‘orphan’ blocks from quilts that were either made and had some leftovers or quilts that were started but the blocks just weren’t fitting with the others.  A great way to use every part of a quilt.  Abe, the Patchwork Owl Spot the Owl Cupid Valentine (they are twins with the same name…)

To create these owls I started with an original pattern from monkeytreecreations.  True to my personal nature I tweeked the pattern a bit, received her permission to sell my owls, and here we are!

You can expect to see some owl additions in my shop either after the sale or a few weeks later…
