Yes, it is true. I’ll be heading up Nort’ (as we Wisconsinites like to say) for the 4th of July holiday weekend. My parents have a cottage in the little town of Fence near the border of Upper Michigan. I’m looking forward to a few days of fun in the woods, waterskiing (technically watch others water-ski, I’m too much of a wimp), swimming with the girls, and of course enjoying the mosquitoes…they’re unavoidable.

This amazing quilted wall hanging, “The Shed in the Woods” by uniquelynancy was a must in this weeks themed Thursday feature! Isn’t it stunning? She did all of this with fabric and thread!

I wish I would have found RainwaterBotanicals Aint No Bugs on Me sooner! I’ll definitely have to get some for my next trip Nort’.

I’m expecting to see many mosquitoes similar to this Giant Mosquito Sculpture by brianandniki in size in just a few days.
