We only had a bonus block posted last week so my quilt hasn’t grown too much.  Two more block tutorials will be posted this week – one on Tuesday and one on Thursday!  I know I can’t wait!

Blogger’s BOM Quilt Along from Canton Village Quilt Works

Since I got up to the blocks posted so far last week, I decided to make each one again (they’re only 8-inch square).  I’m having tons of fun going through my scrap bins to make these AND it’s been really fun trying out different color combo’s.  I really like the grey/lime green/purple one and the grey/orange/purple isn’t too bad either.  I have another plan for this quilt in my mind but we’ll have to see if it actually works out – you’ll find out if it does in a week or two…

The Craftsy Block of the Month

This one is really fun because there are two blocks posted a month with a video.  Each month is a different technique…January was slash blocks, February was Half Square Triangles and March is now Strips.  I love how many different things I’m learning – with ALL the quilt alongs!

I managed to squeak in the next March blocks for this quilt along today.  They were both really fun to make and the end effect looks way more complicated than it actually is. 

FabricFascination

Next up: the BOM from FabricFascination.  Sometime’s BOM’s are nice to just have the fabric all sent already precut for you – and that’s exactly what I’m doing with this one.

I’m not sure how much more I’ll get done with the blocks this week.  I really need to get ready for the RAW Artist ‘Stimulus’ Show myself and my jewelry are going to be featured in next week Wednesday!  It’s my first show that I’m just showcasing my jewelry – so I have to make some fun new things for it AND figure out my display!
